India 2011 Cost

welcomeThe Centre for Social Response ensures that payment is made for all services and hospitality in India and that the voluntary organisations and villages that host us do not have their small resources depleted by our journey. We use locally owned and operated businesses to ensure our expenditure assists the local economy.

Our Travellers arrange their own travel to and from India using the travel agent and flights of their choice. You may arrive in India earlier or choose to stay on after our journey together finishes. We ask that people arrive at our designated Mumbai Hotel by the afternoon of Sunday November 6th 2011 where we will all meet up for drinks before dinner together .

The cost for the full journey in India is $4,600 (Australian dollars) and includes

  • All costs for guides, translators,presentations, Yoga and community visits
  • Unique access to urban communities and rural villages
  • All accommodation for the duration of the journey
  • All meals (except when personally sightseeing on the free days)
  • All internal air and road travel
  • All tips and gratuities
  • Entry fee for the Aga Khan Palace, Taj Mahal, Red Fort and heritage walk in Jaipur

Not included in the cost is

  • Your International fares to and from India
  • Your passport and Visa application costs
  • Your medical and travel insurance costs
  • Alcohol, laundry and other items of a personal nature
  • Sightseeing and entrance fees other than the above

Deposit, Cancellation and Refund policy:

We require a $500 deposit with your booking form. If your booking cannot accepted for any reason your deposit will be refunded in full. However if you withdraw your booking after acceptance no deposit refund will apply.

Cancellations after final payment on 23September 2011 will attract only a partial refund of the balance of $4,100 depending on our ability to cancel travel, accommodation and other services. In some cases eg family illness or death your travel insurance will cover you for cancellations. Alternatively, you can use your full payment for a future program.
