Anniversary India 2015 Cost

welcomeThe Centre for Social Response ensures that payment is made for all services and hospitality in India and that the voluntary organisations and villages that host us do not have their small resources depleted by our journey. We use locally owned and operated businesses to ensure our expenditure assists the local economy.

Our Travellers arrange their own travel to and from India using the travel agent and flights of their choice. You may arrive in India earlier or choose to stay on after our journey together finishes. We ask that people arrive at our designated Mumbai Hotel by 2pm in the afternoon of Sunday November 15th 2015 where we will all introduce ourselves and start the program before dinner together .

The cost for the full journey in India is $3,800 (Australian dollars) and includes

  • All costs for guides, translators,presentations, Yoga and community visits
  • Unique access to urban communities and rural villages
  • All accommodation for the duration of the journey
  • All meals (except when personally sightseeing on the free days)
  • All internal air, train and road travel
  • All tips and gratuities

Not included in the cost is

  • Your International fares to and from India
  • Your passport and Visa application costs
  • Your medical and travel insurance costs
  • Alcohol, laundry and other items of a personal nature
  • Sightseeing and entrance fees other than the above

Deposit, Cancellation and Refund policy:

We require a $500 deposit with your booking form. If your booking cannot be accepted for any reason your deposit will be refunded in full. However if you withdraw your booking after acceptance no deposit refund will apply.

Cancellations after final payment on 18 September 2015 will attract only a partial refund of the balance of $3,300 depending on our ability to cancel travel, accommodation and other services. In some cases eg family illness or death your travel insurance will cover you for cancellations. Alternatively, you can use your full payment for a future program.

    This is a unique 18 day travel and learning journey. It is designed for those who have travelled with us over the past 20 years and are keen to reconnect with India, catch up with the development thinking currently as well as Indian friends and guides, and travel with like minded people keen to enjoy each others company. We also welcome partners or those who are coming for the first time seeking a personal experience that covers both urban and rural  India. It will gently open you to the culture, people and development issues in modern India.
