Is It For Me?

india 2011Our Anniversary India Journey is an exciting trip for men and women of all ages provided they are fit and healthy and can get along with others. We have designed this Journey for those who have travelled with us over the years since 1995 and once again want to relive some of the excitement they felt. We also welcome enquiries from others with an enthusiasm for global and people issues. It is for those interested in people, religions, cultures, food and also with an interest in others who have less.

The program and travel is in a group of no more than 18 participants and accommodation is in twin or double bedded rooms with bathroom attached. Single accommodation is available at a reasonable added cost. On visits to rural areas of India we will separate into teams –usually no more than 6 people to a team to avoid overpowering local villages. Travel is by air, car or private bus. The car travel is usually by four-wheel drive vehicles, mostly on sealed roads, however some rural roads are also involved and can be bumpy. Accommodation is in good quality hotels or in rural areas, unique old buildings or castles. On some rural project visits our accommodation may be not quite as good as in cities .

Remember that some travel is in rural areas of a still developing country, sometimes without the same services and facilities we are used to at home.
