Training Programs

The Centre for Social Response with our Associates conduct Community Development Training programs for non-government organisations (NGO’s), government bodies and corporations.

Especially tailored courses are available during 2015 for those organisations wanting to train staff in community development methodology-starting with our basic “Building a People-Centered Approach” course. Further courses are available on request. trainingCourses are also available for Corporations – particularly in extractive industries– whose operations entail difficult but respectful engagement with surrounding communities. These courses have been run with some of the largest mining companies in the world. All our training programs offer various foundation courses in development method and practice as well as advanced courses in developing professional practice frameworks; community based practice; micro-finance and development work; community economic development and management of professional development workers.
